Bethany
Charity

Bethany is FIV negative but Felk positive. She is spayed and has been thoroughly vet-checked. Bethany was rescued in 2013. The doctor estimated her age to be about 2-years-old. She was thin when rescued but gained weight after she had dental work. After an infected tooth was extracted, she cheered up and became playful and more trusting. She loves to be brushed, enjoys chasing toys on the end of a stick, and she is fascinated with catnip bubbles blown from a wand. Bethany entertains herself sometimes by pulling out a cat toy from her baskets of toys. She will push and bat it around, throw it up in the air, jump for it and run around after it in a comical way. She carries various toys and stuffed animals to her beds and towers. She particularly loves to look out windows, more so than the average cat (and that is saying a lot) so she has the best room in the house where windows are on every wall. She is cat-friendly but in her foster home, she only gets to see other cats through glass doors. Since she tested positive for the retrovirus FelK during her initial health check and routine combo blood test, she has been kept quarantined. Other cats want to play with her, and she wants to join the others, but her foster parents keep her (and litter boxes, dishes and food, etc.) strictly separated.

GC, RW DEVANCHIRE'S COOL HAND LUKE He has been shaved since this Great Lakes Regional top 25 cats championship show photo, when he was 13th in the Cat Fancier's Association, Inc. regional top 25 winners. He will have to see our vet to be neutered before he is available for adoption. He is going to retire from breeding, but he can still be shown in Premiership competitions for neutered and spayed purebreds. ******** |
